Manager of Government Relations & Public Policy
As a Manager of Government Relations and Public Policy with ML Strategies, Max advises clients on legislative and regulatory issues in Massachusetts. Max works with companies in a wide range of industries, including clean and renewable energy, health care, gaming, and manufacturing, among others. He tracks and analyzes legislation and regulatory proceedings, monitors state commissions, helps develop relationships between clients and public officials, advises on state economic development incentive programs, and assists with public and private procurement processes.
Prior to assuming this role, Max was a Project Analyst for Mintz Levin. As a Project Analyst, Max worked on a rotational basis with ML Strategies and Mintz Levin’s Immigration, Litigation, Employment, Labor, and Benefits, and Health Law sections. He also served as the coordinator of the Domestic Violence Project, Mintz Levin’s signature Pro Bono initiative, which provides legal services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and was an organizer of the firm’s annual United Way fundraising campaign.
Max graduated from Tufts University in 2014 with a BA in International Relations. He has previously interned with former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s Office for Federal-State Relations and Press Office and ActBlue, an online Democratic fundraising organization.
