Pamela Mejia

Pamela Mejia, a Senior Manager of Government Relations at ML Strategies, advises clients on federal legislative and regulatory strategy, with a focus on health care and social policy. She helps clients build meaningful relationships with policymakers and develop strategic messaging to advance their priorities in an evolving political landscape. 

Before joining ML Strategies, Pam was Legislative Affairs Manager for the Community Justice Action Fund, where she oversaw the organization’s engagement with federal lawmakers on legislation, appropriations bills, and budget funding and co-led a coalition of national, state, and local organizations focused on building support for community-based solutions to address gun violence in underserved communities. 

She also served in the offices of US Representatives Katherine Clark (D–MA), José E. Serrano (D–NY), and Ben Ray Luján (D–NM), gaining valuable experience in legislative operations and constituent engagement. 

Pam engages several bipartisan staff organizations on Capitol Hill, including the Black Women’s Congressional Alliance, and the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association, through which she supports efforts to strengthen representation and leadership for Black and Brown staffers in the federal policy space.
