BOSTON – ML Strategies LLC, a wholly owned consulting subsidiary of Mintz, has announced a change in its management structure designed to maintain and extend the firm’s unparalleled record of lobbying and providing strategic guidance across all industries.

Former Democratic Massachusetts State Senator Steven Baddour will be promoted to Executive Vice President & Director of Operations in the Boston office.  Steve will join Alexander Hecht who is currently Executive Vice President & Director of Operations, Washington, D.C. Current Chairman and CEO Stephen Tocco, who led the company’s growth acting as a strategic advisor to many of the nation’s largest firms and institutions and has guided some of the most complicated and challenging client initiatives to success, will remain as Chairman.    

Under this new structure, Mr. Baddour and Mr. Hecht will oversee ML Strategies’ day-to-day operations and client service, with Mr. Tocco focusing on client strategy.

I know he will work well with Alex, and the bipartisan ML Strategies’ Federal practice, as they assist clients to navigate a divided government, a Republican led House of Representatives, and new Democratic leadership. I know he and Steve will generate exciting opportunities for ML Strategies.”

Mr. Baddour is a former Assistant Attorney General, with over 30 years of combined government, political and campaign experience.  He has worked at all levels of government and has strategically and successfully represented clients from City Hall to the State House to Washington D.C.  Steve has strong and longstanding relationships throughout the Massachusetts government. He is well versed in executive, legislative and local governance.
